Few areas along the Carolina coast afford the scenic beauty and year-round inshore fishing opportunities as those found around Charleston's harbor, coastal waters, rivers, and endless miles of shallow flats. Depending on the season, the fishing enthusiast can witness a multitude of species of schooling fish that feed in and around the shallow water flats or stalk tailing Redfish found on the transparent high tide flats of Spartina grass. In order to preserve the area's precious coastal ecosystem, LowCountry charters practices Catch, Photograph, and Release (CPR) fishing.
Aboard The "Stealth"
One or two anglers will board the "Stealth," Captain Rob's 18-foot Key West, which is powered by a 115-hp Yamaha outboard. The shallow draft allows the "Stealth" to venture into shallow flats, which would normally be innaccessible. All equipment, including rods and reels, is provided by Captain Rob. You may also bring your own. He supplies G.Loomis spinning rods with Shimano Stradic reels; G.Loomis fly rods with Tibor and Ross reels.
